North Carolina Property Mappers Association

IAAO Course 601

November 1-5, 2010
Sheraton Greensboro Four Seasons

Course Description

Course 601 - Advanced Mapping Methods & Applications
Cadastral Mapping-Methods and Applications is intended to be a continuation of the mapping science curriculum. It exposes students to aspects of protocol and legal principles that are not covered in Course 600. This course utilizes lectures, classroom discussion and exercises to emphasize the main concepts and procedures taught during the week.

Due to the lack of recent offerings of IAAO Courses 600 and 601 convenient to North Carolina and an overwhelming interest from our membership, the NC Property Mappers Association sponsored Course 600, during the Summer of 2009 in Clemmons NC and in conjunction with the NCAAO will be sponsoring Course 601 in Greensboro NC, November 1-5, 2010. A recent search of the IAAO Membership Database showed that more than 31% of the current IAAO members with CMS Designation were from North Carolina. We hope that these course offerings will help more people achieve this notable designation.
